Nice vac! I’ve got the V6 and it does my entire first floor on a single charge, no problem. Second floor is all carpet so we have a corded one (DC40).

Dyson makes solid products, worth the price. Great warranties, too.

I finally got it charged and tried it out. It seems like Dyson is conservative on the battery life estimate. Yes, Dyson is solid. This is complimenting a Dyson DC41 Animal that we bought 4 years ago or so. The hope is that not having to deal with the cord we might use it more frequently. Plus I want to use it on my car.

You will use it more. When a full-power vac is as easy as grabbing a dustbuster, your house will stay cleaner for sure. We almost bought a robot vac, but ultimately I said “why let a robot vac run around randomly for an hour when I could do it in 5 minutes?”

Yeah I got a Roomba around 10 years ago and haven’t used it in the last 5 or more. Mine isn’t high end enough to schedule, so it needs to roam around while we’re home taking an hour to do each room. And based on how often it gets confused/stuck I don’t think one that tried to clean while we were away would actually ever finish a room. Plus the dogs hate it.
